About the Experience

Kobe’s Nada district is one of Japan’s leading sake-producing regions, with a long history shaped by its natural environment and brewing traditions.

Your guide, Paul, introduces the connection between Kobe’s water, sake production and local culture.

Begin at Nunobiki Falls, a group of four cascades celebrated for centuries for their beauty and spiritual significance. Learn about the water of Kobe and the influence of the steep slopes of the Rokko Mountains.

Continue to the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum, housed in a preserved former brewery, to explore traditional sake-making methods and the history of the region.

After a tasting, choose a bottle of sake with your guide’s assistance. The experience concludes at KOBE PLAISIR, where your selected sake can be enjoyed alongside a Kobe beef dinner.
